Nel 2019 Mesdan-Lab Service ha acquisito l’accreditamento no. 279T dall’ente nazionale ACCREDIA, parte di ILAC, quale laboratorio di taratura (LAT), essendo risultata conforme ai requisiti della norma “UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 - Requisiti generali per la competenza dei laboratori di prova e taratura”.

Da quella data, l’attività di taratura degli strumenti di laboratorio di produzione Mesdan-Lab e non solo, è stata in continua crescita, ed ora, per promuoverla ulteriormente, Mesdan ha deciso di partecipare alla fiera “A&T Automation and Testing”, che si terrà dal 6 al 8 Novembre 2025, presso il polo fieristico di Vicenza.

NEW generation of MESDAN-LAB tensile STRENGTH testers
- a complete range -

The revision of the popular TENSOLAB semi-automatic single-column strength tester was announced during the last ITMA with the introduction of the 4^thgeneration, the TENSOLAB 4.

 TENSOLAB 4 replaced the former model which several hundreds were sold worldwide in the past 20 years.

The new TENSOLAB 4 embodies a combination of the best ingredients:

latest technology, best electronics, new software & new accessories, stunning performances (in terms of capacity, versatility, accuracy and testing efficiency), Italian design.

The new TENSOLAB 4 represents the forefront of testing flexibility, being configurable for testing any kind of textile & leather material, from single and bundle fibers up to garment accessories and technical fabrics.

 Based on the new structure of TENSOLAB 4, a new single-position automatic version was developed, the AUTODYN 3, endowed with the automatic yarn-loading device.

Ideal for the automatic multiple testing of a single bobbin/yarn package.

It can be used in the semi-automatic mode as well for testing all other materials, such as  fibers, threads, skeins, fabrics, etc..

 And finally the latest innovation, the AUTOFIL, a fully automatic 24 positions yarn strength tester.

The integrated automatic cop feeding system, the built-in PC, its versatile applications, compact design and high testing speed are only few features that characterize the new AUTOFIL.

 To complete the range, Mesdan offers two models of double column heavy-duty strength testers, TENSOLAB 1000 (10KN capacity) and TENSOLAB 5000 (50KN capacity), designed for high tenacity technical yarns and fabrics, ropes, straps and similar heavy materials.

Mini spinning line & textile recycling

 Circular economy and recycling are very popular topics nowadays, widely applied in textiles as well.

Besides its main application (didactic, R&D, sampling) Mesdan’s Mini Spinning line is often contemplated as part of recycling projects: garment brands, R&D labs (institutes & universities), new startups are showing high interest in laboratory scale or small-production lines for recycling of old fabrics & cloths and the recovery of waste of some expensive materials like aramid or carbon fibres.

TENSO-LAB 4

NEW SEMI-AUTOMATIC TENSILE STRENGTH TESTER

 TENSO-LAB 4 is the latest generation of the well-known Mesdan-Lab tensile strength tester series, over one thousand units in operation worldwide.

Main industry applications are textiles, non-wovens, leather, cardboard, medical.

The new model stands out for:

-       new hardware: high sensitivity and robustness (it can be used to test a wide range of materials, from fibers to high tenacity fabrics), low speed testing available, direct-drive ball bearing screw, maximum capacity extended to 5kN;

-       new components: further improved load cell performance (higher level of accuracy class and new capacities available) and faster to exchange, new pneumatic clamps and jaws for both yarns and fabrics as well as special tools to test peel bond, compression, perforation, garment accessories, etc.;

-       new software: more intuitive and user-friendly, SQL database and standard Ethernet connection for data export, no restrictions on test routines (they can also be created and saved by the end user, as no special skills are required).

Two versions are available: code 2512E which includes a built-in PC, and code 2512F for an external PC connection.
